Marion Montgomery, â€Å"Robert Frost and His Use of Barriers: Man versus Nature Toward God,† Englewood Cliffs, NJ; Prentice-Hall, Inc., 1962. One might say, his verse is about nature, yet with solid fundamental tones of the show of man in nature. Ice himself expressed, â€Å"I surmise I’m not a nature poet,† â€Å" I have just composed two without an individual in them (138).† Marion Montgomery’s basic paper plays with the memorial that Frost proposes for himself in The Lesson for Today: â€Å"I have a sweethearts squabble with the world.† Montgomery says, that the darlings fight is Frost’s beautiful subject, and states, â€Å"throughout his verse there is proof of this perspective on mans’ presence in the normal world (138). The article looks at how Frost’s mentality toward nature is unified with equipped and neighborly détente and shared regard intertwined with limits of the two standards, singular man and the powers of the world.
